From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot states that he had been in the Air for approximately one hour and had just finished spraying a field and his hopper was empty. He stated that he departed the field, climbed to between 500 and 600 feet and was going to go check another field that he was going to spray next. It was at this point that he says the engine just lost power and the prop went to flat pitch. The aircraft went over some power lines and landed in a corn field.
