From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Transcribed from written statement received from pilot on 07/27/2010:pilot departed runway 3 at Delta airport(ajz) at approximately 1230 Mt. Upon reaching 40 KTS indicated the aircraft was slowly veering to the left. The pilot corrected with right/brake rudder. After the correction use of the left brake and rudder became ineffective. No correction was effected regardless of braking and rudder of left main. On cutting the power the left main dug in hard and the aircraft flipped. The pilot stated that upon recovery and loading the aircraft the left main was locked and not moving.
