From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was relocating aircraft from Wichita KS. Midcontinet airport(ict) to jabara airport (aao) following maintenance. In the pattern at aao, the pilot was distracted by another aircraft, made approach and failed to lower the landing gear, heard noise upon contact with surface, applied power and regained airspeed and altitude. The pilot called ict for clearance to return to ict and made normal landing. After shutdown examination of aircraft, revealed that the left and right prop blade tips and left and right flap inboard tips were damaged. The aircraft received minor damage and there were no injuries.
