From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The pilot was told to hold short of runway 30, but the pilot crossed the hold lines, ATC then told the pilot to stop and as the pilot applied the brakes the tail wheel came up off of the ground and the prop struck the ground stopping the engine. The pilot sent me a picture of the prop, and the pilot said that the engine would have to be inspected according to the manufactures instructions for sudden engine stoppage. The aircraft has been inspected, and there appears to be no other damage.

As the FAA filed it
