The nose landing gear dug into the dirt and the aircraft flipped over, ending up inverted just off the left side of the runway. The pilot and passenger sustained minor laceration injuries, and were examined on the scene by paramedics and released. Inspection of the aircraft found the nose landing gear collapsed, with a hole in the wheel pant about three inches in diameter on the right forward side.
