Incident acft was operating as delta flight 1921 en route from detroit, Michigan to phoenix, Arizona (dtw-phx) at FL360 when they got an autothrottle disconnect message and noticed right engine epr at 1.0. Engine did not respond to throttle movement. Crew declared an emergency and elected to divert to Colorado Springs, Colorado (kcos). The engine was running but unresponsive so the crew treated it as a single engine situation. Made normal landing at kcos 1000 pounds under max landing weight, autobrakes 3, and asked fire rescue to check the acft after clearing rwy 35R at twy E2. Acft stopped on twy e with nose of acft oriented south. Fire rescue advised crew of brake fire in right wheel well, and to evacuate the acft. Captain then called for evacuation left side only due to fire on right side. All 4 slides on left side of acft operated normally, and only 3 passengers sustained minor injuries. Injured passengers were treated and released the same day. Injuries included one bruised tail bone, one sprained knee, and one bruised knee. Additionally, one passenger received oxygen on scene, and one pregnant passenger had her blood pressure checked on scene. Everyone was off the acft quickly except a carry off passenger who was paraplegic. The crew helped this person off and then the rest of the crew exited the acft. Estimated total time for evacuation, except for crew and carry off passenger, was just over 2 minutes.
