From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Captain david frederick nelson certificate number privacy data omitted stated that he didn't believe the aircraft met the requirements for severe turbulence as found in his AFM and was considering marginal turbulence. Approximately ten minutes later, American eagle airlines called back and decided to ground the aircraft, enter a maintenance write-up in the aircraft log and qualify the turbulence as severe which would ensure that maintenance provided a severe turbulence inspection. Records have been provided to this office indicating such. The fire department stated that the passenger had been transported to the hospital and the flight attendant, mary neal had just requested transport. Initial reports from the fire department indicate that the passenger complained of wrist injury and the flight attendant had a head injury. After speaking to the American eagle airlines flight crew the following morning, captain nelson and first officer melendez informed me that the flight attendant was released.
