From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

This incident occured Friday evening February 18th around 2300 hours at Fort Worth alliance airport. The pilot requested assistance to taxi to the runway. The taxiway centerline lights were not turned on. The pilot taxied the twin engine Cessna 340 to the intersection of taxiway a and taxiway h. the visibility was not restricted. The pilot was using only the nose gear taxi light and the landing lights were turned off. When the pilot turned the aircraft onto taxiway h the left propeller and tire impacted the taxiway lights. This resulted in damage to the left propeller. The pilot conducted a normal run up on the aircraft and departed on an IFR flight plan. The pilot reported an unusual noise and decided to return to alliance airport and made a precautionary landing. After shut down the pilot noticed the damage to the left propeller. The pilot reported to the FAA inspector conducting the investigation that at least one of the taxiway lights were not working. My inspection revealed several lights in the general area were inoperative. With the taxiway centerline lights turned off the pilot taxied over the runway edge lights at the intersection of taxiways a and h. this report is closed.
