From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC misjudged the crosswind landing at Goose Creek (28A) runway 4, touched down on the runway and immediately began porposing. After the third bounce, the PIC attempted a go-around. The PIC admitted to applying left rudder after adding full power on the aborted attempt to land to keep the aircraft straight. The aircraft struck a ford pickup truck located 20 feet to the left of the runway. The pickup truck (farm use vehicle)was parked and not in use at the time of the accident. Runway was dry and clear of obstructions.
