From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On final approach to Uvalde TX, the nose gear indicator light did not illuminate when the gear was extended. The gear unsafe emergency procedure was followed which included actuating the emergency gear blow down bottle. The landing and turn off of the runway was uneventful. Approx 100 yards from the hangar the nose gear collapsed. It was determined that the nose gear retract actuator would not lock the nose gear in the down position. The part has been sent to av group for tear-down and inspection.
