From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On the 10th landing, while in the left downwind to runway 34 crew preformed pre-landing checklist and swithched the fuel tank lever to the right tank while running the fuel pump. While on approach to landing with normal base to final, 20 degrees flaps, 900 feet altitude, the aircraft began to sink. When applying full power, the aircraft engine did not power up with mixture, prop, and throttle pushed in full. Crew states master/ignition and fuel pump were on. Then it seemed apparent they would not make the runway. The pilot piched up as they approached the hill befor the runway threshold. The crew reported hitting the ground at 55-60KNOTS. The nose gear collapsed and the plane flipped over and came to a stop approximately 400 feet short of the runway.
