From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft N723JP attempted to land on runway 25, landed at Doniphan Municipal (X33) with approximately a 90 degree cross wind in visual flight rules (VFR). The right brake system failed. With no right brake, the pilot was unable to get the aircraft stopped and near the end of the runway, the left braking action pulled the aircraft off the left side of the runway. All three landing gear went off the left side of the runway. The left landing gear passed through a low spot in a drainage area. The left prop contacted the higher ground on the other side of the drainage area, resulting in damage to the left prop. There was no other visual damage other than the left propeller. The gear did not collapse.
