From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot states that approach was normal but he floated down the runway further than anticipated. Upon touchdown he pumped the brakes then applied them fully when he was not slowing down enough. Nearing the end of the runway he decided he was not going to stop in time so he released the left brake and fully applied the right brake to spin the aircraft. The aircraft came to a rest approximately 15' off of the runway with a collapsed left main gear and blown right tire. Minor wing tip damage on the left wing, minor left flap damage and minor skin damage on the left lower fuselage. NTSB declined involvement.
