From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On approach to Brewton Municipal Airport in Brewton, AL, the pilot reported that he was having a problem with the right rudder pedal. He stated that it felt loose. After landing and coming to a stop at the end of rwy 30, he was asked by the FBO manager if he needed a tow. He responded that he would be alright. He then taxied the entire length of rwy 6, turned south on the north-south taxiway. As he approached the turnoff to the FBO, the right rudder pedal fell aftward and jammed against the carpet. Being unable to move the rudder and nose wheel steering and having only the left brake, the aircraft taxied off the left side of the taxiway and into a 10-foot ditch.
