From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was landing on runway 5 at Anderson, SC. At the point of touch down, the pilot reported that the wind appeared to raise the tail and in an attempt to recover he added full power to get airborne again, once airborne the pilot increased the angle of attack and the airspeed reduced to stall speed. At this point the left wing made contact with the runway and then the aircraft veered off the left side of the runway and crossed over the taxiway collapsing the landing gear system. The winds at the time 1656 reported from the ASOS was 280 degrees at 7KTS, visibility 10 miles, temp/dew point- 31/64, pressure: 29.88
