From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft enroute from uni to 15G, landed 15G runway 3 without incident. On rollout pilot attempted to apply brakes, there was no braking action. Emergency brakes were then applied with no success. Engine was mannually turned off and pilot intentionally departed runway 3 to the right to slow down aircraft. Once runway was departed right wing struck runway light causing significant damage to right wing. Aircraft came to rest in drainage ditch at end of runway 3 causing additional nose gear and propeller/engine damage. Pilot and 3 passengers escaped without injury.
