From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft landed on runway 23R while the tower was closed. Captain stated that the runway was snow covered and that he lost control of the aircraft upon touchdown. The aircraft went off the left side of the runway striking several runway lights and a runway sign. The aircraft returned to the runway and taxied to the local FBO. The crew departed for a local hotel without reporting the incident. Line service personnel noticed mud on the aircraft and reported it. The local maintenance provider noted gear door damage and performed a gear retraction per the pilots request. The aircraft departed later the same day, destination unknown, though probably Mexico.
