From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On takeoff roll on runway 10 the aircraft drifted to the left side of the runway. Approximatley 900' down the runway the left main gear went across a patch of ice then contacted the snow on the unplowed surface. The aircraft then traveled approximately 200' with the left tire on the snow then the aircraft departed the plowed surface sliding on all three wheels east with the aircraft facing north and the proeller struck a runway light approximatley 1000' down the runway breaking the lens and bulb. The nose landing gear lower strut tube then bent causing the nose gear to collapse and both blades of the propeeler then struck the ground and the aircraft then spun to facing south and slid on th emain wheel s and collapsed nose gear approximatley 200' and came to a stop approximately 25' from the north edge of the runway.
