From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

NASA806 a U2 was at FL450 eastbound. Dcm 3177 a G4 at FL430 was westbound. ATC isssued merging target instructions when the aircraft were approximatetly 10 miles apart. When the aircraft were approximately 4 miles apart NASA806 made a transmission that was difficult to understand and descended from assigned altitude. ATC vectored dcm 3177 away from NASA806. DCM3177 reported the U2 in sight. At approximately FL270 NASA806 transmissions were clear and understandable. NASA806 advised that he had an oxygen issue, and continued to comply with ATC instructions.
