What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Weather at lbf reported as 1 sm/ ovc 200, winds 200/6, temp -3/ dp -4. Center advised braking action "fair." The pilot landed on the 1000' marker at vref, slowing aircraft with prop reverse through 40 knots. He then reduced prop reverse and started applying brakes to slow to an appropriate taxi speed. At this point, he had 2000' to 3000' of runway remaining. He applied the brakes and realized that he had zero braking action. The aircraft came to a stop with the main wheels approximately 5' off the end of the runway. The aircraft did not hit a taxi light, antenna and no prop strike occured. The only visible damage was to main tires, where it appeared that as the aircraft hit the dirt/grass, chunks of tread were ripped from them.
