From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Baggage smoke master warning illuminated during cruise at 36,000 feet, 77 miles south of cos. Flight crew declared emergency, executed qrh procedures, and pressed "fire baggage ext" switch - flight was diverted to cos. Baggage smoke master warning extinguished during final approach to cos, but illuminated again after landing. Airport emergency equipment met aircraft upon exiting from rwy 35R. Flight crew requested to taxi to gate - emergency equipment followed. Company mx personnel later determined the cause of the baggage smoke master warning was corrosion at the fwd cargo smoke detector connector. Connector was replaced along with baggage compartment fire extinguisher bottles. Aircraft was later released with no further related issues.
