From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was conducting a local orientation flight for a friend. Performed two normal landings. When he extended the landing gear for a third landing the right main failed to extend. The pilot performed all possible checks and procedures to no avail. He elected to land gear up. He advised the airport operations. Part of the runway was foamed. The aircraft landed smoothly and slid for some distance then came to rest on the centerline. No injuries and no fire. Post incident inspection revealed a small RH inner gear door actuator bolt was broken which jammed and prevented the RH main gear from extending.
