From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was on a IFR flight from tacoma, WA. To Sandpoint, ID. After turning at initial approach fix over hayden, ID pax heard vibration noise in cabin. The pilot then noticed that the cabin altimeter was climbing and the cabin pressure was dropping. Pilot requested an emergency descent to lower atitude and continued the approach and landing to Sandpoint airport without further incident. Inspection of the aircraft showed that the fuselage metal around an fm antenna mounted to the top of the cabin was torn. Further inspection on the inside of the fuselage showed that there was no doubler under the antenna base.
