From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On February 14, 2012, at approximately 1340 pacific standard time, a Beech G-18S, australian registration vhnwb departed runway 31 at Hollister airport (kcvh). In a statement from the pilot, at approximately 30 to 40 feet after takeoff, the right wing dropped so he pulled power form the left engine to level the wings but the left wing impacted the runway and blew the left main tire. The aircraft veered of the left side of the runway and slid into a ditch.
