From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that upon touchdown, aircraft began an aggressive veer to the left. He stated that he attempted to counteract with right rudder with no effect. Aircraft departed the right side of rwy 35L and struck a runway light with the nose gear. Aircraft continued the left veer and crossed a ditch impacting on the opposite side which caused the nose gear to collapse and the propeller and right wingtip to strike the ground. The aircraft continued another 50' beyond the ditch coming to rest on an approximate 230 degree heading between rwy 35L and taxiway alpha.
