From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. On April 9, 2012, at 1500 PST, N4273B Beech bonanza F35 had a gear collapse on landing with roll-out on runway 07 at Nevada County Air Park (kgoo).the pilot suspected a landing gear malfunction as he cycled it to the down position and got a green annunciator light, though the manual indicator remained in the up-position. The pilot conducted a fly-by of the Nevada County Air Park and the gear-up condition was confirmed. After cycling the gear several times unsuccessfuly, the pilot resorted to and followed the manual gear-down procedure. On another fly-by, ground personnel confirmed that the mains were down and locked and the nose gear was about 90% deployed. The pilot elected to perform a soft-field landing by keeping the nose gear off the runway until appoximatly mid-field. However, the nose gear collapsed as soon as it settled down, as did the left main gear. The aircraft slid to a stop on the runway. No injuries or substantial damage.
