From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft performed touch and go landing at Ardmore, Oklahoma downtown executive airport (kahd)heading northbound. As the aircraft was climbing out on take off the airspeed was slow and the engine was working hard to maintain airspeed. At this time the aircraft turned slowly towards the northwest. As the aircraft was turning the tail began to slowly "porpise" and the aircraft was narrowly missing the tree tops. As the tail started to porpise the airspeed slowed and the pilot banked and turned the aircraft back to the east trying to turn back to the airport southbound. As the aircraft was turning the airspeed slowed and the right wing hit the tree tops. The aircraft fell straight down into the trees in a flat attitude. As the aircraft was falling through the trees it hit the power lines and slid backwards down the power lines, landing in a creek bed. The aircraft flaps were full down and the flap handle was in the full down, 30 degree position. Also, the pilot was lost and had gone to the wrong airport. The pilot was at Ardmore downtown executive airport (kahd)in Ardmore, Oklahoma but he should have been at Ardmore municipal airport (kadm) in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Pilot stated that he forgot to raise the flaps after touch and go landing.
