From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During take off from runway 27 at greensfield airport (M71) near Moscow Mills, MO. N3736R climbed to approximately 5-10 feet and was pushed back onto runway by gust of wind. The pilot elected to abort the takeoff attempt and began applying braking action. Insufficient runway remained to come to a complete stop by the end of the paved runway surface. According to pilot and passenger statements the aircraft was traveling approximately 15 miles per hour as it exited the end of the runway however due to the steep embankment just off the end of the runway the aircraft rolled down the embankment and struck the near edge of the perpendicular road. The nose gear of the aircraft was sheared off by impact with the ditch. The aircraft then slid across the paved road and came to rest upright but nose down in the FAR ditch. No injuries were sustained by the occupants of the aircraft.
