From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated that he got rotation airspeed. Stayed in ground effect, not getting climbing performance. Decided to put aircraft back on ground. Once back on ground, applied hand brake. Aircraft veered right striking ILS box. Pilot stated that he calculated density altitude at 7000 ft. however, airport personnel reported density altitude at 9000 ft. pilot stated that his weight and and balance calculations had the aircraft at 140 lbs. Below max. Takeoff weight. Aircraft had a total of 38 gallons of fuel (max 50).
