From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While aircraft was in high altitude cruise flight autopilot disengaged multipule times. Master caution illuminated for loss of primary stab trim. Pilot then proceeded to hand fly aircraft to alternate airport. During the decent both pilots noticed increased control pressure and tried to engage secondary trim , then received master caution for failure of secondary trim. With no trim system and trim stuck at approximately -2.2 the pilot declared an emergency with ATC. Aircraft landed with no incident. The primary and secondary pitch trim was tested on the ground during post flight evaluation with no problems noted. The trim stab acuator assembly was removed for further testing and troubleshooting by manufacturer. Actuator assembly was cooled to -65F for three hours and found to be non-functioning. Further troubleshooting revealed the actuator's electronic control modules (ecm) were not responding. Cessna is continuing to investigate the root cause.

As the FAA filed it

AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH NO INCIDENT.THE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY PITCH TRIM WAS TESTED ON THE GROUND DURING POST FLIGHT EVALUATION WITH NO PROBLEMS NOTED.
