From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Operator attempted take off fully loaded from unfamilier soft field runway. Runway condition was tall grass, with rutts and holes. Aircraft sprung into Air slightly after engaging ramped, rut just before v ref, and leaned to the right side. Rt wing engaged heavy corn growth, and spun aircraft causing tail of aircraft into soft ground and momentum raised the nose of the aircraft up and over, landing on its top. Aircraft sheared tail just behind cockpit, damaged propeller, engine landing gear, and fusalage. Operator was very cooperative. Counsiling will be administered by FAA fassteam.
