From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

privacy data omitted Indicated that during the landing phase at 38D, he estabilished a higher than normal sink rate. Once recogonized, he added full power. Subsequently, the aircraft landed nose first causing the propeller to strike the ground as well as bouncing the aircraft back into the air. The aircraft landed a second time this time with the nose wheel partially collapsed striking the properller again. privacy data omitted Thought the aircraft was in a porpoising event and applied full power to initiate a takeoff and did indeed takeoff. privacy data omitted Flew the aircraft back to the kcfg airport. Upon landing, the aircraft settled in a nose down attitude caused by the hard landing and bounce at 38D causing additional propeller damage. The aircraft was towed off the runway.
