From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated he felt and heard the gear go into the postion. A gear extension/retraction was done just before the flight with no abnormalities. After the gear up landing, the aircraft was placed on jacks and another gear extension/retraction inspection was conducted and again without abnormalities. Inspection revealed that the nav light in the on position dims the gear down light. The gear up horn worked as described in the aircraft manual. Upon inspection, the flaps showed no indication that they were down at the time if ground contact.
