From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The PIC while initiating landing during a pleasure flight, conditions clear & calm and all indications appeared normal until touchdown. The pilot stated she experienced a hard landing and subsequent single bounce and decided the appropriate action was to execute a go around and climbed back to pattern altitude. ATC instructed her to complete a standard left traffic approach and then was cleared to land. Upon taxiing to the FBO, shut down and noted strike damage to both propellers. This encountered during the previous landing attempt. Damage was considered minimal and confined to the nose wheel pant, propeller blades and consequently because of the prop strike entails further engine examination.

As the FAA filed it
