From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Shortly after takeoff from mic, aircraft experienced an electrical system failure. Pilot decided to leave class b airspace and flew to fcm. Upon approaching fcm, pilot initiated manual extension of the landing gear by actuating the manual gear crank. Pilot stated that he suspected gear was not down, since he did not feel the typical drag that is noticed with gear down. Gear position indicator lights were inoperative due to the electrical system failure. Pilot landed on runway 30 at higher than normal airspeed on final due to flaps not being able to be extended because they are electric. The prop struck the runway first and aircraft came to complete stop about 3/4 of the way down the runway with the landing gear up.
