From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

N2253P departed athens/ben epps airport(kahn) athens, Georgia enroute to Statesboro - bulloch county airport(ktbr) Statesboro, Georgia. The pilot stated that entering downwind at ktbr , he performed a gumpp procedure (gas , undercarriage , mixture , pumps , props check and 3 seconds of flaps) he further stated that on final approach he applied full flaps and performed another gumpp procedure, however, on touchdown the propellers struck the ground and he realized the landing gear had not being extended. The aircraft came to a stop on the edge of runway 32 with damage to the l/h & r/h propellers, 2" of the inboard trailing edge of each flap and damage to the crew entry step located on the r/h side of the fuselage just behind the right flap. The aircraft was then raised, the landing gear was extended, and the aircraft was towed to the maintenance hangar next to the FBO.
