From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Aircraft made an ILS approach to runway 31 at tvf and landed at approximately 22:47 CST in snowy conditions. Shortly after landing, the pilot reported that the aircraft began to encounter multiple snow drifts. The pilot stated that it was determined that it was not in the best interest to abort the landing at that point. The snow drifts caused the aircraft to veer into the snow off the left side of the runway approximately 3000 feet down the runway. The only apparent damage to the aircraft was to both propellers.
