From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft was out practicing flight maneuvers when he selected the gear down position the main gear extended but the nose did not. The pilot did a 'fly-by' at his home base kevb and the tower stated it looked like the nose gear was up. The pilot preceeded to a practice area in an attempt to get the gear down by 'g-forces' but to no avail. The pilot elected to return to kevb and land. The aircraft landed on the main gear with a small amount of damage to the nose cone, nose cone bulkhead, NLG gear doors, and the right propeller took a strike on both blades. The left propeller was feathered and horizontal and there was no damage noted after landing to the left side.
