From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

After push back from gate D23, aircraft N945WN started to taxi under its own power. It moved forward about 10 feet and started a right turn. At about 10 degrees into the turn, the left wing tip came into contact with the right wing tip of aircraft N443WN. N443WN was hooked to a tug and was being pushed back out of gate D21. The tug driver started to drift to the right, which closed the space between the two aircraft. As 443WN was being pushed back by the tug and N945WN was moving forward under its own power, the right wing tip on N443WN contacted the left wing tip on N945WN. There was enough damage on both wing tips that they required replacement before further flight. : the ramp/taxi areas were snow covered and the ramp markings were obscured by snow. : corrective action will be process through the company's asap program.
