From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was recently purchased by the present owner. This was an introductory flight to the coporate owners and friends. A normail approach and initial landing was made to the airport. After touchdown the right main gear collapsed. The aircraft slide off the runway to the right and came to stop approximately mid field. No injuries to single pilot and six pax. Reason for collapse appeared to be a loose down lock adjustment but due to damage of landing gear it was unable to verify. No other anomilies could be found.
