From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On approach to atl runway 27L, a noise was heard after deploying landing flaps to 30 degrees along with a slight tremble of the aircraft. PIC decided to conduct a missed approach procedure and disengaged autopilot. With no abnormal instrument indications, the crew performed an uneventful landing. Upon arrival to cargo ramp, the crew and maintenance personnel performed a visual inspection and verified there was a portion of the right side inboard trailing edge flap missing along with damage to the right aft fuselage and leading edge of right horizontal stabilizer.
