From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot lost directional control of aircraft immediately following touchdown at Hendricks country airport (2R2), runway 18. The aircraft initially swerved to the right after touchdown and began a series of left and right oscillations of increasing severity until the aircraft ultimately came to a stop on the runway facing in a westerly direction. Hard skidding action to the right caused damage to the left side main wheel, wrinkling of fuselage skin aft of the left landing gear box structure and visable canting of the left side cabin door pillar. The resulting stresses imposed on the aircraft also caused the left cabin door to pop open which will no longer shut due to airframe/doorframe misalignment.

As the FAA filed it
