From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was taxing out from heritage aviation to join charlie taxiway then proceed to kilo taxiway. The pilot got onto what he thought was a taxiway, but was on an access road. As he proceeded down the access road he realized he was not on the taxiway. He was looking out the left side of the aircraft, thinking of turning around. At this point his right wing impacted a fence that came up next to the access road. The impact with the fence turned the aircraft to the right causing the propeller to impact the fence.
