From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On aug 1, 2013 at approximately 0720L at West Yellowstone, Montana airport (kwys), privacy data omittedPIC of N926BW (citabria 7GCBC), and a private pilot rated passenger, initiated a local-area part 91 personal flight. On initial takeoff, with the passenger on the controls, and the PIC "following" on the controls, the aircraft departed runway 19 and impacted the runway's VASI lights.

The private pilot-rated passenger (front seat) was not trained for conventional gear aircraft and the ATP rated PIC (rear seat) did not posses a flight instructor certificate. Neither the pilot, nor passenger were injured. The structural damage to the left hand wing struts was substantial.
