From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

During a practical test for a multiengine rating, the designated pilot examiner (DPE) instructed the applicant, who was the pilot in command, to execute a short field landing during a practical test.

After the applicant successfully completed the landing event, the DPE instructed the applicant to go around. The DPE also told the applicant that he (the DPE) would retract the flaps. However, instead of retracting the flaps, the DPE inadvertently retracted the landing gear, resulting in the aircraft settling on the runway in a gear up configuration.

Since the DPE was not a required pilot crewmember and since the pilot in command, or the applicant, did not contribute to the incident, the iic selected "not applicable" for the pilot information.

The DPE is privacy data omitted. He possesses ATP and flight instructor certificates.

As the FAA filed it

THE DPE IS ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. HE POSSESSES ATP AND FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATES.
