What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
During takeoff roll from dirt airstrip, rough surface caused bumping and difficulty holding center line of narrow, short dirt strip. Shortly after takeoff roll initiated, ruts in strip caused aircraft to veer to the left, pilot had difficulty correcting and subsequently impacted brush, shortly after becoming airborn which then lead to impact with terrain. No injuries, substantial damage to aircraft.
