From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Departed little rock, ar (klit) on IFR flight plan to Williamsport, PA (kipt). Approx. 2 hours into flight the right (#2) engine lost power. Pilot shutdown engine and feathered the propeller and requested descend to 10,000'. ETA to destination was 45 minutes. Pilot did not declare an emergency. Attempted to restart engine at 10,000' in case loss of power was due to turbocharger problem. The prop unfeathered and rotated but engine would not restart. Approaching destination, modified staight in approach to rwy 09, he used a landing checklist but delayed extending the landing gear due to being single engine. He then forgot to extend the gear prior to landing. He does not remember if the landing gear warning horn sounded.
