From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Airport and tower personnel reported the aircraft landed under VFR, but it was raining and the runway was wet. The aircraft touched down extremely FAR down runway 10R and departed the end of the runway. While taxiing back onto the runway, the aircraft hit a red runway end identifier light (REIL) and damaged a wheel pant.

The aircraft was inspected by miller aviation, a repair facility on the field, and the aircraft was determined to be safet to fly without the wheel pant. The aircraft departed for duluth, GA, its home base, late Monday the 18th.
