From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot reported he was practicing a precision landing on runway 240. The reported winds at the time were 210@13 G17. At 300 ft. the approach was stable on the glideslope and runway center line with an approach speed of 66 KTS. He continued with the approach and glanced at the wind display on the PFD which indicated a wind of 210@11. Upon landing he touched down main gear first on the 1000FT. Marker. Shortly after the nose wheel touched down. He then experienced a gust of wind which lifted the right wing. He used aileron to control to try to correct this but he was unable to prevent the aircraft from exiting the left hand side of the runway. He applied the brakes but was skidding in the dirt. The aircraft came to rest beside the runway facing a heading of 060. He was able to taxi the aircraft to the parking area on the ramp at kryn.
