From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft ran off runway and into a ditch during touch and go landings when pilots foot became lodged in the rudder pedals. This pilot had not flown in the last 11 months and was completing his 3rd takeoff and landing for currency when the incident occurred. The firewall was damaged upgrading this incident to an accident.

Although this report indicates that the airmen had logged 1 hr in the last 90 days (pilot information - 31H), the pilot reported that he had only 0.3 hours.
